Well connected with the train station and the Piazzale Roma car terminal, B&B Giò and Giò is located at the foot of Ponte delle Ostreghe, a minute's walk from the stop of the water bus that sails down the Canal Grande between palaces and museums whose silhouettes are reflected on the water along the way.
This part of Venice is one of the most evocative parts of the old city center featuring small waterways sailed by traditional gondolas, the evocative Campo di Santa Maria del Giglio and the famous Calle XXII Marzo that offers shopping opportunities in its elegant boutiques.
Venice is an art city. It is filled with art galleries and extraordinary collections displayed at Palazzo Grassi, Cà Pesaro, the Accademia, the Pinault Foundation or in the areas of the prestigious Guggenheim Collection; all conveniently located to B&B Giò and Giò.

How to reach us >
By Train
To reach the B&B from the Santa Lucia train station, we suggest you take the water bus (line 1 / direction: Saint Mark's) and get off at the Santa Maria del Giglio stop. From here, take a short one-minute walk towards Saint Mark's to reach the B&B.
By Air
From the “Marco Polo” International Airport, the Alilaguna water transportation system will lead you in 40 minutes to the Sant’Angelo or San Marco stops, located by the B&B. Alternatively, use the ATVO buses that connect to Piazzale Roma and continue the journey by water bus as described in the ‘By Train’ paragraph.
By Car
From the toll booth of the Venezia - Mestre highway, follow signs to Venezia / Piazzale Roma, where you'll find a car terminal with parking facilities for your car. From here, take the water bus as described in the ‘By Train’ paragraph. In case you decide to leave the car at the Tronchetto parking lot, take the line 2 water bus and get off at the Accademia stop. Walk across Campo Santo Stefano and continue on to Saint Mark's. The B&B is located about a 10-minute walk from here.
